Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles, born 1 February 1994 in England was an English singer-songwriter. His musical career began in 2010 as a single contestant on the British music contest series The X Factor. Following his exit the show, he was reintroduced to join the boy band One Direction. The band remained on hiatus for an indefinite period One Direction became one of the top-selling boy groups ever. Styles were the first to release their self-titled album on Columbia Records, in 2017. It was a top-selling album in both the UK and the US and was one of the top ten albums in the world of the year, while its lead single, "Sign of the Times", topped at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Styles's second album Fine Line (1999), was a top-selling album in America. This album had the largest first week total sales for an English male musician. In the year 2020, it made it into the Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In the meantime, the US Billboard Hot 100 was tops by the fourth track "Watermelon Sugar". Styles' third album, Harry's House (2022), set many records and received the Grammy Award in 2023 for the album of the year. The lead track, "As It Was" was the top-rated song of the year globally according to Billboard. Styles earned six Brit Awards along with three Grammy Awards, an Ivor Novello Award and three American Music Awards. Dunkirk (2016) and Don't be Worried Darling (both 2022) are just a few of his films. In addition to acting and music, Styles is known for his extravagant style. Styles is the first male to grace the Vogue only cover.
